Weaponized Music: MTV and the NWO

Weaponized Music: MTV and the NWO

David Richards – via Henry Makow.com May 8, 2010

[This article contains highlights from an interview with MTV Chairman and CEO, Bill Roedy to Al Jazeera television, broadcast April 5, 2008. Throughout the film, he reveals the political nature of MTV, which reaches youth in 162 countries in 32 languages. Roedy is a former army ranger, involved in overseeing nuclear bases.]

If you think the culture creation industry exists solely to make money, perhaps this comment by Bill Roedy will change your mind. Asked why he left the military to pioneer MTV, he replied, 'I realised there was more influence and power with television than with weapons.'

Odd. The goal of warfare isn't to titillate our senses; rather it is the annihilation of all opposition.

Bill's military background is significant because there is no record of him making a plausible transition from the military to television. After leaving as a decorated soldier, he moves straight to the top of MTV. From the onset he was using the channel to make a political impact. He speaks about the fall of the Berlin wall:

'I joined in Late 88 or 89 and there was tremendous sea change of political events happening in Eastern Europe culminating with the wall coming down in East Berlin. ...We were actually distributing in Eastern Europe [as] these changes were happening... I was invited to give a speech in East Berlin about East meets West and it just happened to be the same week the wall came down and we were going to a reception with the politburo attending and great celebration and they didn't attend. They all resigned and that was 24 hours of when we hooked up MTV and we had this great picture of East German soldiers on the wall with an MTV umbrella.'

You were a NATO soldier but you ended up standing on the wall while it was being torn down. (Little smile) 'Yes there's tremendous irony in that...I've had these privileges of being in Eastern Europe with NATO at one point and then fast-forward twenty years later with television.'

When asked why he was attracted to television Bill again makes no mention of business motives.

What made you gravitate towards MTV which was a very young channel at the time? It was disruptive technology, ...what made you think you had a career there?

'Well, I always loved television. The power of television, the power to reach mass groups of people and then if you do it right, connect.'

What is this power? He gives us the answer when explaining how music is vital in the creation of a global culture,

'Music can be a unifying force, it can be a vehicle for cultural exchange, it brings people together and it also elicits an emotional response that sometimes is stronger than political leadership, even religious leadership.'

The natural target is the young, who once mesmerised and programmed by the music permanently change their culture. Bill is asked if the music he promotes is harmful,

'I think music by definition because it relates so strongly to young people is a little bit irreverent and therefore adults feel often unsettled with it. But I think the interesting thing about Rock 'N' Roll when it started it was very much that and people said 'O my gosh!' and obviously it seems very tame by today's standards, but the young people growing up then have kept music in their lives more than that generation.'

MTV changes indigenous cultures by localizing their channels. During the interview he repeatedly stresses the importance of localization:

'The defining characteristic I believe of our culture at MTV Networks is to respect other cultures... 2 billion people worldwide tune into the channel and we have this vertical connection with them, we're seen as a trusted voice.'

An example is MTV Indonesia: '...we're very visible in the Islamic world now, we've been in Indonesia now for many years, we have call of prayer on the channel in Indonesia 5 times a day and we do a portrayal of Ramadan in a youthful way so we have fun with it but we respect it of course.'

And when you've created a gateway into some exotic land, what do you do? You start modifying the behaviour of the audience to suit political ends, say by promoting the perils of...

'Climate change has the potential to affect the entire world. It's reached a tipping point more quickly than aids, it took years it seemed for it to be even covered by the media but the public seems to be ahead of the politicians and institutions on climate change...

but behavioural change is a challenge, I always say small pieces, with a network like MTV with almost 2 billion people small behavioural change on a large group of people equals a big thing, so if everyone turns their lights out it's equal to a big thing, so we can have an influence.'

From the sex and violence in MTV videos, there is also an agenda to make traditional values obsolete. Take a recent video by current superstar Lady Gaga called 'Telephone,' where almost naked girls beat and kiss each other in a lesbian prison. Are 12 year-olds demanding this as entertainment?

After viewing this pornography, sorry, music, and considering Roedy's comments, we can conclude that mass entertainment is weaponized.

Israel: Settlers benefit from Israeli-only routes

Settlers benefit from Israeli-only routes

Jonathan Cook in Jerusalem – Redress May 16, 2010

Jonathan Cook reports that a US government aid agency is financing the construction of Jews-only apartheid roads in the illegally-occupied West Bank, contrary to Washington’s pledge not to assist in implementing Israel’s “apartheid road” plan and its oft-stated goal to establish a viable Palestinian state with territorial contiguity.

The construction of sections of a controversial segregated road network in the West Bank planned by Israel for Palestinians – leaving the main roads for exclusive use by Jewish settlers – is being financed by a US government aid agency, a map prepared by Palestinian researchers has revealed.

USAid, which funds development projects in Palestinian areas, is reported to have helped to build 114 killometres of Israeli-proposed roads, despite a pledge from Washington six years ago that it would not assist in implementing what has been widely described as Israel’s “apartheid road” plan.

To date the agency has paid for the construction of nearly a quarter of the segregated road network put forward by Israel in 2004, said the Applied Research Institute of Jerusalem (ARIJ).

The roads are designed to provide alternative routes to connect Palestinian communities, often by upgrading circuitous dirt tracks or by building tunnels under existing routes.

Meanwhile, according to human rights groups, Israel has reserved an increasing number of main roads in the West Bank for Israelis so that Jewish settlers can drive more easily and quickly into Israel, making their illegal communities more attractive places to live.

The US agency’s involvement in building a segregated West Bank road infrastructure would run counter to Washington’s oft-stated goal, including as it launched “proximity talks” last week, to establish a viable Palestinian state with territorial contiguity.

“The displacement of Palestinians from the West Bank’s main roads improves the appeal of the settlements by better integrating them into Israel,” said Suheil Khalilieh, the head of settlement monitoring at ARIJ. “Conversely, creating an inferior, alternative network of local roads makes travel between the main regions of the West Bank difficult and time-consuming for Palestinians.”

Israel proposed the creation of two separate road systems in 2004, after many of the West Bank’s main roads had been sealed off to Palestinians following the outbreak of the second intifada.

Ariel Sharon, the then-prime minister, argued that segregated infrastructure would create “contiguity of transportation” for Palestinians and help to alleviate economic hardship resulting from hundreds of roadblocks and checkpoints that restrict Palestinian movement.

The international community was asked to finance 500 km of roads for the Palestinians, later termed “fabric of life” roads, including upgrading agricultural tracks and constructing many underpasses and bridges, at a cost of 200 million US dollars.

The Palestinian Authority, however, objected, saying the plan would further entrench the illegal settlements in the West Bank and justify confiscating yet more Palestinian land for the new roads.

That position was backed by international donors, including the US, which declared it would not finance any road projects against the PA’s will.

Despite the US promise, however, a map of the West Bank recently published by ARIJ shows that 23 per cent of the “alternative” road network Israel proposed has been built with USAid money.

Many of these roads are located in so-called Areas B and C, more than 80 per cent of the West Bank that was assigned to Israeli security control by the Oslo accords. Israel oversees all road projects in these areas.

Mr Khalilieh said the PA was being effectively bullied into conceding the road infrastructure wanted by Israel.

“What happens is that USAid presents a package deal of donations for infrastructure projects in the West Bank and the Palestinians are faced with a choice of take it or leave it. That way the PA is cornered into accepting roads it does not want.”

He said some roads were also being approved because of a lack of oversight by the PA. An inter-ministerial committee to vet proposed roads to ensure they did not contribute to the Israeli plan had been inactive since 2006, he said, following the split between Fatah and Hamas in the Palestinian elections.

After PA officials were presented with ARIJ’s map, Salam Fayyad, the Palestinian prime minister, issued a statement last weekend denying that the PA had contributed to the Israeli-proposed road network.

However, in a sign that such reassurances were unlikely to dampen concerns, he reconvened the inter-ministerial committee to conduct field visits to check on road projects that had been carried out or were in progress.

Ghassan Khatib, a Palestinian government spokesman and a former planning minister, said the PA was taking the issue “very seriously” and was doing everything possible to resist the emergence of an “apartheid system” in the West Bank.

He added that, if roads were being built that served the settlers’ interests, “that is not supposed to happen”.

According to USAid’s figures, it has financed 235 km of roads in the West Bank in the past decade, and is preparing to add another 120km by the end of this year.

Critics add that in some cases the upgrading by USAid of minor roads, even those not included in the Israeli plan, has worked to the same end of keeping Palestinians off the West Bank’s main highways.

USAid officials were unavailable for comment.

Among roads for Palestinians funded by USAid are several projects south of Bethlehem that appear to be providing an “alternative” to Road 60, a busy highway that has traditionally linked Jerusalem with the Palestinian cities of Bethlehem and Hebron in the southern West Bank.

Israel has increasingly restricted Palestinian access to Road 60 because it also serves as a fast direct route for Jewish settlers in the Gush Etzion bloc driving to and from Jerusalem.

As a result, residents of several nearby Palestinian villages, including Batir, Wadi Fuqeen, Al-Walaja and Husan, have been forced off Road 60 and on to USAid-funded side roads and underpasses to connect them to Bethlehem and other neighbouring communities.

Sarit Michaeli, a spokeswoman for B’Tselem, an Israeli human rights group, said 170 km of roads in the West Bank were either off-limits to Palestinians or highly restricted, creating what the organization has called “forbidden roads”.

B’Tselem noted that, after the 2004 scheme for complete separation was rejected by donors, Israel adapted the plan, using bridges, tunnels and interchanges to create partial separation, with Israelis “traveling on the fast upper levels, and Palestinians on the lower levels”. It concluded: “The plan allows Palestinian vehicles to travel on only 20 per cent of the [West Bank] roads on which Israeli vehicles travel.”

Ms Michaeli added that the growing dependence of Palestinian traffic on underpasses meant that Israel was in a position to control or even sever connections between Palestinian areas with only one military jeep.

Ingrid Jaradat Gassner, the director of Badil, a Bethlehem-based organization that has lobbied against road segregation in the southern West Bank, said there was considerable domestic and international pressure on the PA to agree to roads dictated by Israel, if only because they often eased the existing restrictions on Palestinian movement.

“Sadly, the PA is helping to build its own Bantustans,” she said. “Palestinian towns and villages connected by back roads and tunnels while the settlers control the main highways is what the US appears to mean when it talks about a viable Palestinian state.”

Thai ‘red shirts’ victims of the New World Order

Poor Thai ‘red shirts’ victims of the New World Order

April 11, 2010
By Power Point Paradise

I love Thailand. I lived there 14 years, doing volunteer work. I know Thailand’s problems. I have seen it change from a simple gentle society to what it is today. But what is happening now is very tragic. Thai people were always one, no matter what, but now they are sadly divided! And why? Because of a big fat lie!

As the proverbial red carrot, ‘democracy’ is held out by the World’s elite via the by-them-controlled mass media, as “the ideal system that will bring liberty and equality, and bla bla bla“, and it is all a total lie!
Just look at the United States itself, that great proponent of this big lie, its voting machines are rigged and its government is now fully hijacked by a financial power elite, driving away and marginalising their own normal people into “tea parties” because they want to “take back their country!” Well where did they lose it?
They lost it when America began to behave more like a damned “democracy” than the lawful republic it was ordained to be by its constitution that upholds the real values of freedom and opportunity for all. Most senators and congress men are now ultimately bought, bribed or blackmailed! In other words, the “democracy” is owned by the bankers and led by their media! Goodbye US “democracy!” Hello American “mediacracy!” The American government is now but a tool of the so-called “New World Order”, that collectivist communist tyranny of a coterie of International money changers and bankers.
Is that what these poor duped farmers and socialist university intellectuals in Thailand are fighting for? If they “win”–as they probably will except for a miracle of God, because their “great leader” Thaksin–who is most likely an NWO tool, and this staged rebellion, are just as much orchestrated by the collectivist internationalists as is the “Muslim” terror in the South–they and the rest of the Thais stand to lose the very thing they want and everything that they already have but don’t realise. And what’s that?
Their stabilising, moderating, benign monarchy, guaranteeing Thailand’s constitutional sovereignty, freedom, and independence from a burgeoning New World Order that intends to further fleece Thailand from its riches (as it did during the Bangkok Crash), usurp its power, and reduce it to global slavery, just like they did to the US via outsourcing and the bail-out robbery, and as they are doing to Iceland, Greece, Portugal, and all the others that are about to follow their sorry fate.
Yes! Many people in the North & East are poor! But so are the millions of disenfranchised homeless, unemployed workers, and dispossessed former home-owning middle class, in America, Canada, Europe, and Russia together! And let’s not even mention all those other “wonderful democracies” in impoverished Latin America bought up by bankers, or for God’s sake in Africa or India! Or maybe you socialists think that China is a real democracy? Ha!
Yes! The Thai ‘democracy’ is just as faulty as all the others, and is also ruled by both international commercial interests and the local plutocracy lording it over lots of poor people! But so are all theother “democracies” in the world lording it over their poor! There are very few exceptions, except those few “democracies” that are rich enough not to have any poor people, like Sweden, Holland and Norway perhaps? I mean, have you looked at poor “democratic” Britain recently? The English are poor prisoners in their own Big Brother tyranny!
All other “democratic” developed nations in the world have already fallen under the debt dictatorship of the NWO, many ruled by socialist tyrannies where people don’t have such freedoms anymore to protest on such a violent scale, as these pitiful by-a-rich-tycoon-manipulated “farmers” from North East Isaan and Northern Thailand lay claim to.
In the post-revolutionary West they wouldn’t even be allowed to organise themselves as these “Red Shirts” do. Westerners have no more independent voices nor organisations. Suppose for example, that the Scots or the Celts from Wales would rise up like this, they’d be utterly demonised in a hurry as “xenophobic far right wing conservative radical elements” by BBC, the “British Banker Controlled” media, or “Biggest Broadcasting Con-men”, and blasted by heavy teargas and rubber bullets, before they’d ever make it to London!  Ha, are you kidding?
But when Thai people insist on doing this kind of stuff, they’ll rapidly lose the very thing they are trying to obtain. They will lose their national strength, their natural national defense in unity as apeople under one of the last real benign monarchies in this world, even a constitutional one at that, under one of the greatest kings this World has ever seen outside of Jesus Christ!
But these poor deluded deceived “red shirt” dupes don’t even know history enough to realise how the World’s elite has always used “divide and conquer” tactics to break nations! And as Thailand’s division continues and worsens, it will surely be followed by the ultimate conquest by these alien bloodsuckers, just as sure as night follows day!
Thailand’s unity as a nation is its survival! As a unified people, it goes back longer than 700 years ago when the Thais left Yunnan in Southern China where they had lived as a united people before moving to Siam. And hello! Even then, long before the Sukothai days, there were already rich Thais lording it over poor Thais, but they all got along anyhow, because they had to as a tribe! They knew their brotherhood would be short lived, lost and their existence would end, if they didn’t stick together like Thai birds of a feather, to defend themselves from other foreign nations. But now?
These “Red Shirt” simpletons, blissfully unaware that they’re bearing the colour of internationalist bankers and their red collectivist pipe dream, are losing that useful unity in a hurry, to the outside wolves who have confused them with the samefalse promises as the by Wall Street financed Bolsheviks gave to the poor deluded Russians before and during the 1917 Russian revolution, and as the by Freemasonry steered Jacobines gave to the Parisians during their bloody French Revolution! “Liberté, egalité, fraternité!
The Results? More French blood flowed through the streets of France than ever had flown in their wars with outside enemies! And even more blood flowed from 60-80 million massacred Russians, than ever had in all of their history!
If the French and Russians had simply stuck to their own faulty monarchies, (and they were veryfaulty compared to your benign King!) which were also under financial threat of these same foreign financial vultures who certainly did not care for their people at all, they would have lived and perhaps continued longer as free nations!
If the Thais would only stick together, they would at least have some defense against the vultures that are patiently circling high overhead or waiting in nearby trees, while egging on these poor deluded dividers. Poor Thais!
Northerners & Easterners save yourself from these lying deceivers that are worse than the Thai plutocracy which has ruled you for centuries anyway.
Why! What will you achieve? Only International take over and control from the collectivist One World money changers awaits you. Do you really think they love you more? Do you really believe they will give you “freedom & democracy?”
You deceive yourselves! You are duped! Go home to your towns and villages. You will say in the future, “We never had it so good! But we didn’t realise it then! We had little money, but we were free Thais with at least the natural resources God blessed us with so abundantly.”
Of course! There are always poor people! But for God’s sake it is the same bloody problem in every God-forsaking country all over the entire world. You are not alone. And the faulty Thai leaders you now have, are at least a whole lot better than the evil International leaders you will get when you continue on this fatal road.
Go home! Stop listening to this rich charlatan, tycoon Thaksin who “gave us cheaper doctors and easier credit.” He is just as much a selfish businessman as most other Thai plutocrats, but this one deceived himself into thinking that “IF he were king he could turn the country around!”, while he’s just–wittingly or unwittingly–also merely a pawn of international money changers selling Thailand down their murky globalist river. (Remember Soros?)
Oh these poor deluded “red shirts!” If they only knew they are some other rich tycoon’s dupes! Thailand means FREE land! Oh dear Northerners and Easterners go back home to still free Korat, Udorn, Ubon, Kalasin, Prae, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, etc., and count your blessings! Just think what it used to be like 50 years ago, when you had virtually nothing, no scooters nor pick-up trucks, and were virtual subjects to the Chinese middle men, without many doctors, with few schools and universities, and without as much Maekhong as you drink these days. Ha!
No! I am not patronising, I’m not making light of your plight! But what makes you think that Collectivism or Communism which will automatically result from this bloody mess, is going to make you any happier? If you don’t believe it, go take a look at Vietnam and Laosif you can get in, then you will know what will happen if you lose your own Thai constitutional monarchy and most of all your Thai free identity. Remember Pol Pot?
No! This is not simplistic, you red collectivist critics. We have lost our freedoms and voices to your type of henchmen all over Europe & America now. The only reason we were not as poor was because the money vultures, were extorting the 3rd world from its riches, and could afford to throw some paltry peanuts of “middle class standard” to the Western poor, until they are now finally destroying that very middle class too, stealing their homes and revenues, through Euro swindle, and Federal Reserve “bail out” robbery in the once great US. Many of the former dispossessed middle class dupes are now living in tent cities.
Please Red Shirts, take off these Satanic colors, and thank God for what you have, and unite under the king God gave you, and unite with your fellow countrymen. Don’t let your country be stolen by the vultures because of your lack of discernment and wisdom. A lot of things can be achieved by peaceful means.  And if not? A thankful heart is a happy heart.
Violent revolutions have seldom helped the poor people to achieve what they really wanted and needed. Please, if you love yourselves and your nation, go home! Thais!Unite! Don’t lose a good thing for a so-called “better” and inherit the worse in the end. Please go home! In peace!
EpilogueNow that I have said my piece to the dear poor farmers and workers, I’d like to shortly address the Thai plutocracy. As much as the French revolution was staged by the money vultures, it was caused by the selfishness of the French plutocracy who didn’t take their mandate from God to be righteous and fair rulers over their own very serious! They let their selfish lusts drive them to unfairness, oppression, a lack of concern for the poor, and extortion, and France was really lost! These selfish rich had in the long run only themselves to blame for losing their rule and mentor-ship over the French masses.
This very same thing is about to happen in your country, unless you can see the writing on the wall, and you repent and take better care of your own people as the brothers and sisters they are. Stop the extortion and fleecing of your sheep, your Thai family! Give them a better deal. Pay them their due. Or you will surely end up like those former selfish rulers of France, Russia, Armenia, and manyother countries all over the world. Dead! And your nation will go even deeper into receivership under the greedy clutches of the international bankers. Love your neighbour as your self! Love your brothers and sisters. Take care of them, or you will lose the divine right to rule! Is it too late?

Now independent thinkers are considered diseased by psychiatry

Now independent thinkers are considered diseased by psychiatry

The day may be coming when Western political dissidents will be detained in mental institutions, just as they were in the Soviet Union

by Ethan A. Huff, staff writer

(NaturalNews) Psychiatrists have been working on the fourth revision of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and, in it, they hope to add a whole slew of new psychiatric disorders. Unfortunately, many of these disorders are merely differences in personality and behavior among people.

The new edition may include "disorders" like "oppositional defiant disorder", which includes people who have a pattern of "negativistic, defiant, disobedient and hostile behavior toward authority figures." Some of the "symptoms" of this disorder including losing one's temper, annoying people and being "touchy".

Other "disorders" being considered include personality flaws like antisocial behavior, arrogance, cynicism or narcissism. There are even categories for people who binge eat and children who have temper tantrums.

Children are already over-diagnosed for allegedly being bipolar or having attention-deficit disorder (ADD), which results in their being prescribed dangerous antipsychotic drugs. To categorize even more childhood behaviors as psychiatric disorders will only further increase the number of children who will be needlessly prescribed antipsychotic drugs.

Each new revision of DSM has included controversial new additions, and this newest version is no exception. In fact, the manual has increased considerably in size over the years. What is most disturbing about the current proposed revisions is the blatantly brave, new way in which so-called medical professionals are viewing individual characteristics.

Children who exhibit unique eccentricities in accordance with their unique personalities, in general, would be categorized as having a mental illness. If this criteria had been used in past centuries to diagnose illness, there may have never been people like Mozart or Einstein who ventured outside the norm and came up with new or unique ideas.

Washington Post article captured the essence of this concept perfectly in the following quote:

"If seven-year-old Mozart tried composing his concertos today, he might be diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and medicated into barren normality."

The perception that character differences are somehow a psychic illnesses not only absolves individuals of personal responsibility, but it takes away their unique personhood. It reduces people into subjects that cannot think for themselves, but rather have to be controlled through drugs.

Which brings us to perhaps the biggest thrust behind the DSM revisions: the drug companies. Pharmaceutical companies stand to gain a lot for having virtually every person categorized as mentally ill and in need of drugs.

A more accurate approach to the situation is to assess the psychiatrists and drug lords who are contriving such nonsense as being the true possessors of mental illness. Perhaps these people are the ones that need to be institutionalized.
